Director of Loyalty & Engagement
Jaspreet Sandhu is the Director of Loyalty and Engagement at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Through strong leadership skills and business acumen, she has lead focused teams to ensure sustainable growth of TIFF’s membership and individual giving programs.
Jaspreet holds a BFA and BA in Film Production, and South Asian Studies from York University and an MA in Cultural Studies and Critical Theory from McMaster University.
Her diverse work has been published multiple times, a few noteworthy pieces are:
-as an illustrator for the award winning children’s book A Lion’s Mane
-as an academic with published works in The McMaster Journal of Communication and the book Citizen Journalism: Valuable, Useless or Dangerous
– as a curator for Hamilton’s Art Crawl, Documentary Organization of Canada – Toronto Chapter screener, Online Sikh Film Festival juror
Giving back to the community is a high priority for Jaspreet, as demonstrated by her strong volunteer presence such as: the Marketing Director at Ascend Canada – a group dedicated to the success of Pan-Asian executive Leadership, the Customer Experience Council for the Canadian Marketing Association, Civic Action’s Emerging Leaders Network, Reel Asian’s Marketing Committee, Maytree DiversCity, and formerly the South Asian Visual Arts Centre, Fuse Magazine, and the Spinning Wheel Film Festival.
